KADEN FORSBERG is an actor, singer, songwriter, and teacher from Edmonton, AB with over a decade of experience as a teacher, creator, and performer. His education and performance career has taken him across the world, through many genres and styles, searching for the authentic voice in himself and his students.
His performance and teaching practice began with a Masters Degree in classical voice from the University of Victoria. As a teacher, Kaden combines this formal knowledge with years on stage performing operas, musicals, country, and pop shows. The result is a teaching style informed by excellent pedagogy as well as first-hand knowledge of a demanding performance career. Kaden prioritizes consistent, healthy, and reliable singing by connecting students with their ‘core voice.’ He uses tangible exercises and as well as scientific vocabulary so that students leave with necessary tools to continue developing their instruments in their own practice.
Kaden has experience teaching all ages, levels, and styles. He is also trained in a degree of vocal rehabilitation and can assist with developing healthy or damaged speaking voices.
